Next Episode of Edd Egg Progress

This'll be the first episode of Edd Egg in 2010 (Note: This is not going to be Greatest Hits 2. That'll be after this one).

The script has already gone through a couple of rewrites. I'm just waiting for Mark to be able to review it with me and help make improvements and I should be able to get cracking. Until then, I'm working on some background designs and an all new title sequence!

I'm going to keep quiet regarding what the episode is about but it's not pinned down to any holidays or events, such as Halloween, so I have a bit of freedom to complete the episode rather than panicking about a deadline. But I still hope to get this done within the next few weeks.

Keep an eye on the YouTube page too. I've got some new fancy video editing software so I'll be uploading stuff soon as filler until the episode is out.

Yay! Looking forward to the new title sequence and new episode. Will there be any new character to grace the Edd Egg series?

Script: 80%

We had a good script writing session last night and it's almost ready to begin. There's just a few parts I want to tweak first before I call it finished. I hope to begin recording voice acting for it very soon, but there's some voice acting work Alison and I need to do first, so I may focus on backgrounds and the title sequence until we're ready to record.

Gizmo: No hint word yet. I don't want to give away much at this stage. But I hope to put up some preview pictures as the project progresses.

Jackland: Not in this one. The focus is on the main three. The Greatest Hits 2 will feature various new characters (at least, new to the flash series) so there'll be plenty going on there.

I think the script is finished now. It looks like it'll be roughly 5-7 minutes long! Eek!

Title Sequence is mostly done. It's taken a while due to each character being pretty much redrawn for this - as well as making the music video for Frying Pan and other things happening at the moment. Amy has been almost completely redesigned!

There's the bank holiday weekend coming up so I hope to make so significant progress with this episode. But I'd say this episode may not come out until late-May now.

can't qw8 revery week can you tell us how much percentage of the animation is done chears

Working on backgrounds at the moment. In a way, these are harder than Werewolf's bgs. In Werewolf, it was set outside, so I could cheat and use the same night sky (or a tweaked version of it) and the same for trees and bushes etc.

But this episode is set mostly indoors, which may sound easier to draw than the woods, each room needs to be different and I've got less oppotunity to reuse props. I can't go back to just plain gradient backgrounds anymore! In fact I spent part of my evening last night drawing a pot plant that may not even appear in the frame. That said, it's satisfying drawing a good looking background and I hope for this to be the best looking Edd Egg to date.
